The use of lasers in a variety of research fields, industry, medicine and finally in many products of daily life demands a qualified education and training of students in laser technology from uni versities, technical high schools and vocational schools. These institutions are addressed by miCos, the series of educational laser kits from miCos developed to support and improve practical laser training. Within this product line 7 laser training systems of the topics optics fundament als, laser basics , laser metrology, fiber optics and telecommunications, lasermaterial processing, and laser applicationsare presented.
